Una tormenta de nieve algo anticipada sorprendió a New York, azotando sin misericordia a centenas de miles de personas que tuvieron que esperar hasta 10 horas trabadas en las carreteras, puentes y estaciones de autobuses y trenes de la Gran Manzana.
La tormenta se desplazó desde el sudoeste de EUA, y golpeó desde Washington D.C. hasta el área de Boston. Pero el área metropolitana de New York fue la más afectada.
